MODULES

1. START HERE AND NOW

The first Module consists of 10 days (35 hours) of immersion into the creative process and collaborative group work. During this introductory module, the student works with their instructors to develop their concept and project framework, while also touching on professional opportunities and legal concerns.

2. BREAK A LEG

In this module, participants will develop, sequence and produce a body of work in 11 days (40h). On the basis of their imagery, and depending on the characteristics of the project, the students materialise their work in an object, an exhibition, a performance or a publication. Decisions will be made in an explorative process, but in an informed and guided way by the project tutors.

3. GET IT OUT THERE

In 9 days (30h), the theoretical and technical training is completed with a practical toolkit, which enables the student to develop an artistic career in the international market, and will help him/her to create exhibition projects and publications that are solid from the point of view of content, and with a viable execution and dissemination plan.

4. SURVIVAL IN THE REAL WORLD

During 8 days (27 hours), participants receive additional tools for their future work as creators, such as pedagogy and mediation of art, insights in the curatorial process, accessibility for the arts, and an overview of video, installation and projection techniques for photographers.

TUTORING MODULE

The optional MENTORSHIP PROGRAM consists of a set of additional tutoring activities for the project development, which consists of group tutorials and individual meetings, as well as two technical workshops.
